Thanks for coming out, "Mazda" I guess you should also do your home work before you pipe up. BTW, you really sound like a true patriot of the North American economy with your screen name being that of a Japanese auto maker. If you are done preaching now... Beat it.

Well seeing how when I joined this forum, I owned a Mazda pickup, you know the one that is made in the same factory as the Ford Ranger in the USA, but comes with better warranty and a cheaper price. I am sorry I made a mistake, but you can kiss my edit for bad language. not understanding how this has become an insulting fight, May I ask what the XC7 stands for in your screen name, sounds like your a trader and drive a suzuki... should I assume that eh!

PUREADRENELIN SAYS: I'm calling BULLS**T!!! We have had our Apex since the fall of 2005 and have not had these problems! I went ahead and edited your original post so this guy can get some true feedback. I say go ahead try the Yamaha, try Polaris, try a Cat just don't be stupid and brand loyal. The only place that gets anyone is stuck on the side of a trail screaming at their sled...

WOW.....getting "REAL" advice from a 21 year old guy on Yamahas!.... LOL...the best part is, YOU have NO idea! I've been riding (multi brands) since late 70's. I have more setup experience and RACE experience (not just an wanna be!)...than you'll ever have. I raced Porsches, Camaros, Indy Lites thru North America.....ALL paid for by sponsors.....i have been involved in all motorsports and have many Canadian Championships under my belt in many forms of racing. Setups AREN'T the problem...i guess, its really just knowledge of HOW mechanics work and HOW a sled SHOULD handle. Maybe when youre big enuff, and buy your OWN sled, you'll see what its like to spend THOUSANDS of dollars on a piece of junk (compared to other sleds).....like i said......(i wasnt bashing the Yamaha direct...i was stating the fact, that the 300 bucks will be spent many times over when getting the sled)...and YES, its worldly published in ALL forums, mags, editors, test drivers..that the Yamahas NEED aftermarket skis, and YES, i can send the bills for the extra heat exchanger (which WAS discounted to all pre-2009 Apex owners due to a recall)....and yes they burn out sliders (unless you dont ride enuff)...and yes the shocks need revalving (as also stated "between the lines" in most truthful mags etc) that is, if you ride "hard", and the list goes on! You seriously need to give "honest" info on these sites to guys.....i am stating the facts, and i sold this sled to a buddy, who rode my sled stock and at the end of last season (he also reads these forums) and he knows the time and effort it took to convert the Apex into a good trail machine. Dont start B.S. cuz youre bias towards the Apex! A spades, a spade. I look on these forums for TRUTHFUL answers, and i wish to find people who dont "sugarcoat' the truth. Hey i dont mind if you agree or disagree, and i dont really care how OLD you are....but as long as you know the "differences" between them. I can say that i always had loved my Polaris', but hey they are too unreliable these days (thru friends and mags) all the 800's were poppin, SO...i stayed away...for now. I was told by others, how good the yammy's were...so i bought one......after a few rides and concerns, those who i talked too PREVIOUSLY, said oh yeah...mine does that, and that and that.....isnt that "normal" theyd say???!....NO! Its all about experience, and honesty....just cuz a person spends $15000 on a sled that SHOULD work good outta the box, and then they tell everybody how good it is, when really its not...thats not kewl. Wow, this posting took an "off topic" turn! lol....sorry......i think im venting...lol......hey PURADRENELIN, seriously....i dont mean to target you, but dude......its an honestly thing. I "know" alot about sleds, and i still dont KNOW if i will like the new 4tec i just bought....i Hope i doo, and if i have issues....i WILL post them! i dont lie to people........oh and by the way, your cousin is cute on your "myspace" page! lol...take care lil buddy

Just bought a 09 adren in the states, dealer gave me a recall letter and had to pay no extra amount for it. Will go back next year for 2 or until doo makes it harder or more expensive. you should have done your research to get around paying for the letter. you took a chance and it didn't pan out, suck it up and enjoy the savings you got.

the venting from graphics 1988 is more intereseting than the original topic. For a guy who knows so much about sleds and racing, he should not be surprised about yami rear suspesion------ everything has been well documented. This guy makes me laugh, he rips on him about being young and inexpierienced and the calls him his little buddy at the end of the reply. Somebody needs a nap !!!!
