2010 Arriving Options

thanks for posting a pic, first red/white gade I have seen so far. I must be getting old because that windshield looks cold.
I'm going to order the same windshield that came on my wife's 09 GSX 1200 with the mirrors built in it. nice looking sled though, I have a set of 6.9 white/black skis sitting in the barn ready to bolt on it also when it gets here.

I was at a dealer the other day looking at an X model and noticed that the cowling on the side does not have the two grommet holes (on each side) that the side deflectors (separate from the center windshield and the part the mirrors attach to) connect to. No idea what you would have to do in order to put side deflectors on an X model, or if it is even possible. I'm sure they have something.

btw - totally agree with you. That sled looks awesome, but after having a short windshield on my last sled, I want at least a medium to high. It can get a little chilly above 60mph on open trails, not to meantion fighting wind resistance. It looks good with a short windshield, but functionally it doesn't fit my riding. Sad truth is when you get old, function becomes more important than fashion. Its all personal preference I guess...but don't get me wrong, I'd still give my left one for this sled!

Mine's been at the dealer for 4 weeks now, waiting for some mirrors to arrive. I was there yesterday and took a couple of shots. So, for those of you waiting to catch a glimpse of an actual 2010 Renagade X 1200 in White/Red trim, here you go! Notice the white nose as opposed to the black that was shown in the catalog, on the site, and during the Spring Tour. I prefer the all white. These pics don't do it justice- it's way prettier in person!

I had my uncle ask a Skidoo rep today at the Novi MI snow show, my kids are sick so I never made it down there this year, when I should expect my 1200 Gade X. The rep said they were going to be built Nov 24th through Nov 27th. Sounds like early Dec before I will even see my sled. No offense but I really hope there's not good snow for the opening weekend of ridding here in MI and I'm still waiting for my stinking sled. *%@ BRP, snowmobile season is not long enough to miss the first couple weeks waiting for our sleds that we ordered 7 months ago to get here! The only other time I got a snowchecked sled late like this, in Dec, was back in 1995 with my wife's Formula 3 600. That sled got here the first week of Dec that year but it was worth the wait, that sled rocked.

You've had since April to get my sled built---this is crap....yes I know I can't use it until it snows. But it is similar to when I gave my wife an engagemnet ring two years before we got married, I still enjoyed her company even though I didn't get the full benefit of the relationship until I actually got her home.

If anybody out there has herd something different about delivery or build dates, please pass the info along. Again, Nov 24th-27th was what the Doo rep told my uncle Sunday but maybe he was misinformed.

I will call the factory in the morning to see if I can get a manufacturing schedule, and post if I can find our.

I spoke with the factory this morning at 9:15 edt and the Renegade 1200X will be built tomorrow Nov 11th starting at 2:04 pm....I couldnit find our how many were being built but I expect it will be the last run of the day and they produce approximately 260 sleds in an 8 hour assembly day----so I estimate there will be approximately 100 built tomorrow afternoon. There doesn't appear to be any other 1200 RenegadeXs scheduled to be built the rest of this month.

Hope this helps......your dealer will have to find about delivery schedules.

I will be asking for that same deal. Did you get it in writing?

I am in pa but bought the sled in new york, I'm done with pa dealers. The owner himself told me. Lets hope it don't get to that point.

My dealer still doesn't have an answer of when mine will come in........
