soppen > "" Thank you so much! We are two friends spilling oil all over northern Norway. Rest assured you did a lot more for the environment up here than our government did last ten years.
Thanks again, Steinar. ""

ZEBEBAD > "" Dan you are right ! Same insert fits the wifes new GTX rev, & also my 96 Formula SS-670, 97 MXZ-670, 97 Mach-Z, & my 99 Formula III 800 and none of them leak anymore ! Thanks ! Super Product !!! ""

VITROX > "" Just got done testing mine.. had a HUGE leak before, took all the tape off the neck and the o-ring i put in there.. slid the insert in and did a quick test to make sure the oil wasn't leaking. All good, took it out for a 2 hour ride, NO OIL LEAK. Great product and great idea! I highly recommend this to all that have the leaking tank. ""

webuyfun > "" Thanks Dan. Simple fix for a pain in the &#@ problem. Un real how out of round the tank gets. ""

I have been selling these for over 3 years now. got sick of replacing the oil tanks on all my coustmers sleds. I made over 100 of them on a cnc lathe to cut the cost. they work verry well. No need to replace tank no more. The best thing is they are cheep.

no need to buy a new tank ... have this made at a local machine shop and you are good to go .. no more leaks... biggrin.gif DAN03REV

made of UHMW ... O.D. is 1.74 inches ...I.D. is 1.37 inches ... upper flange is 1.84 inches O.D. and about .13 inch thick... length is 1.25 inches ... works like a charm...

the part shown in pics is not the actual part, but gives you an idea of what it will look like with given dimensions...

I just use a ZX oil cap. It has never leaked since I put it on.

I use the same oil cap that came with the sled. I've never had a problem. I think people tighten the cap too much. Just snug it, don't crank it!!
