VITROX > "" Just got done testing mine.. had a HUGE leak before, took all the tape off the neck and the o-ring i put in there.. slid the insert in and did a quick test to make sure the oil wasn't leaking. All good, took it out for a 2 hour ride, NO OIL LEAK. Great product and great idea! I highly recommend this to all that have the leaking tank. ""

I have been selling these for over 3 years now. got sick of replacing the oil tanks on all my coustmers sleds. I made over 100 of them on a cnc lathe to cut the cost. they work verry well. No need to replace tank no more. The best thing is they are cheep.
Carlson Racing, specializing in ski doo go fast goodies, including cudney clutch kits- big bore race engins- complete grass and ashpalt setups. Western New Yorks largest Cudney Racing dealer. Complete Shock rebuilding.

no need to buy a new tank ... have this made at a local machine shop and you are good to go .. no more leaks...
made of UHMW ... O.D. is 1.74 inches ...I.D. is 1.37 inches ... upper flange is 1.84 inches O.D. and about .13 inch thick... length is 1.25 inches ... works like a charm...
the part shown in pics is not the actual part, but gives you an idea of what it will look like with given dimensions...
I just use a ZX oil cap. It has never leaked since I put it on.
My #1 sled:
2009 MX-Z Renegade X 1200 4-TEC 6100 miles + and climbing :-)
Skid plate, toe holds and knee pads
Gas caddy and tunnel bag
Rox adjustable height handlebar riser
Pilot 6.9 Skis

I use the same oil cap that came with the sled. I've never had a problem. I think people tighten the cap too much. Just snug it, don't crank it!!
