That looks a lot sturdier than the 1+1 for the old Rev.
Would you feel comfortable putting an 8 year old on that for a day of riding?
I have put an 8 year old on it. Mine. It's actually pretty sturdy. Just check it over before you ride to make sure everything is snapped into place. However most of my rides with one of my kids on the back have been under 1 hour in duration. Usually involving getting to a pond for some ice-fishing and a fire. And at a liesurely pace. I have ridden out of the woods many times with one of my kids asleep in my arm. However if you plan on all day trail riding, at speed, I would recommend the back rest and maybe some muffs, or installing the heated handgrips. Even with the 1+1 seat, my youngest prefers to ride in front, where the view is better, than stare at my back for any lenght of time.
