I remember reading an ad about Frog Skins? in a sled mag last year. I want to use it over the clutch side engine air intake(600 SDI) to eliminate powder clogging the foam intake and then have the sled start to bog. Anyone have experience with this stuff? Does it work? Does it restrict air flow?

I couldn't find the write up in the Rev section, I saw these mentioned in the new Snowtech mag I picked up today, they mention SLP as a distributor, I checked 'em out and they're roughly $140 for the 6 pc. clutch side vents.
Are these brand new and no one has real experience with them yet ?

Here's the link for them.

Anyone else have any thoughts or experience ?

The price sure seems right. The only difference I see is these don't have a aluminum or plastic frame work - which is or isn't a bad thing???

Fellas, Trail riding, frogskinz work great. Any off trail riding through trees or anytime you flip the sled on it's hood or side the skin will giveway or rip. Just bought a vent kit for my 09 summit 800. Riveted on, has a metal frame and i think it looks pretty sharp. Definitely a better grab if your willing to shell out the extra coin.

Frogskin - Intake & Cooling Ventilation

We have found that frogzkin's work great. C3 PowerSports uses them on our Carbon Fiber Snowmobile side pannels and hoods as they are the lightest vent kits on the market

They are really easy to install and do not require any bolts or rivets. Instead they use an industrial grade adhesives to allow a fast and easy, peel-n-stick application.

Because they don't have an aluminum or plastic frame work they are lighter and more flexible and can be applied to contoured and curved surfaces more easily.

These vents work great and let in lots of air flow while keeping the snow out!

We have a variety of different style Vent Kits for both XP and XR in our store so give us a call at 250 833 3538
