I believe i overfilled my chaincase with lube. I read on hear to fill it to the rubber breather where the jackshaft bolt is. But i realized this couldnt be right. So is too much lube going to hurt anything? And where exactly should it be filled?

I fill mine until it starts coming out the magnetic plug by the running boards. To much oil actually creates friction, causing additional heat, not sure anything bad would really happen unless u filled it completely full?
