Many Forum usage questions can be answered by the Forum Help but we have tried to address some of the most common issues in this document.
Q: I don't like my DOOTalk.com User Name, can I change it?
A: Sure, just send a message to the site admin or use the Contact Us form to send a message incidating your current User Name and the new name you would like.
Q: Why am I unable to post pictures in a topic?
A: The problem with posting pictures is that they are often too large. Images must be under 70K in size and preferably 640x480 pixels to be posted on the forums. Images can easily be resized using many image editing software packages. Check out the Image Resize Tutorial for details on performing this task using a Freeware software product.
Q: Why can't I upload my Avatar?
A: The Avatar is the picture that appears in your member section of each post you make. Your avatar must be no bigger than 192 pixels by 128 pixels in size.
Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 10 KB. The following file types are allowed: gif .jpeg .jpg .swf .png. Make sure to specify the exact Width and Height of your Avatar on the Upload Form
when uploading it to the site or it will appear distorted.

Q: How do I get my Sled info and Photo Gallery Link to show up under my member info in posts?
A: Click on the My Controls link near the top of the screen and choose Edit Profile Info. That is where you will find the place to enter these additional values.
Q: How do I let somebody know about an offensive or abusive post?
A: Open the post in question, and click on the Report Button to inform the moderating team.

Q: When I go to the photo gallery I do not see any options to add my photos.
A: You must always enter the photo gallery by clicking on the Photo Gallery option from the Features Menu. If you try to access the gallery any other way, the software is unable to determine your DOOTalk login info.

Q: What number should I enter on the DOOTalk.com Mileage Log?
A: The DOOTalk.com Mileage Log is intended to track the number of miles/kilometers you have ridden
in a given season. The software is configured to measure a season as September 1st of one year to August 31st of the next. It is not intended for you to
enter the total mileage shown on your 's odometer.
Q: What should we do if it looks like somebody is entering incorrect or false mileage?
A: Probably just live with it. The Mileage Log was created as a fun way to see how much the site members are riding during a season.
There are no prizes awarded to the winner. It's just for fun.
